XYIENCE Power to Win Athlete: Fitness Athlete
Growing up in Inarajan, Guam, Ray Chargualaf was into all types of sports, from cross-country running to basketball to outrigger racing. He simply loved the competition. At the age of 18, he enrolled at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology in 2008, and then in 2011 received his Master’s degree in Sports Education and Leadership. Today, he is the founder and CEO of Revolution Fitness Evolved in Las Vegas.
Chargualaf has had the opportunity to train several professional athletes and celebrities, including contestants from the NBC hit show The Biggest Loser, including season nine contestant Sunshine Hampton and season 11 contestant Sarah Nitta. In addition, he has had the opportunity to work with and train several top fitness athletes in the Las Vegas athletes.
Today, Revolution Fitness affords Chargualaf the opportunity to create fitness programs that make people work smarter, not harder. Respected athletes including UFC fighter and current number two-flyweight contender Joseph Benavidez have sought him out. The West Coast National Men’s Rugby team also trained with Chargualaf in advance of the 2013 World Cup 10 tournament.
