You train hard. You eat right. You’re dedicated. It doesn’t matter if you’re an elite athlete or a weekend warrior; you need to know that the training you’re doing is not a waste of time. And that’s where I come in.My name is Michael Palmieri, and I have the background, education, and experience in improving athletes of all types; when they want to dominate and obliterate their opponents, no matter where they may face them, they come to me. I am a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist, an Olympic Weightlifting Coach, and hold certifications in several specialties, including Combat Sports and Heavy Sports. In other words, I have long history of making athletes blow away their competition.
I was brought on board by Xyience to give you the tools that you will need to do the same, as fast and as completely as possible. And over the next several months, I will cover everything you may need to do so, from specific exercise programs and execution, to nutrition, rehab, etc. Columns, instructional videos, interviews, and more - all the information you could ever want.
At my private facility, we research athletes of all types for performance. And the great thing about the testing and training of athletes is that what we discover can trickle down to the average sport enthusiast. Call it a built-in bonus for anyone who wants to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
It makes sense that an elite athlete has to fine tune his training and nutrition if he wants to be the best and stay on top. But not everyone who comes to Xyience is a pro-level athlete. So, if you are that weekend warrior type and you’re visiting this website, reading articles and reviewing supplements, you may be telling yourself, “I’m not a pro-athlete, so maybe none of this applies to me.” Quite the contrary.
Most of you come from the backyard, so to speak. You want get in decent athletic shape and stay involved with a few choice sports, whether as a hobby or for fun, all while at the same time struggling to pay the bills and keeping up with that ultra-fast paced lifestyle. Does this mean that these articles don’t apply to you? Why not? Raising a family, keeping a home together, working 40-plus hours a week, and all of life’s other disasters, while at the same time hitting the gym regularly, can be more of a challenge than a pro athlete’s regimen. So understand that what ever I talk about and cover on this website applies to everyone who’s reading it.
